There are two things I'm going to try to stop saying

1. I'm back

2. I'm going to stop working on the website (or some variation of this)

Why?

Well, this is my site. I shouldn't feel the need to constantly be posting and engaged. I think that's a weird hang-up that I get from social media. Or maybe I get it from the idea that a blog should always get updates. Or just the endless wheel of content that is the internet. Whatever it is, I'm going to try to recognize when I feel that pressure and just ignore it.

As far as working on the site is concerned, I won't ever finish it. That is probably how a website should be. The impetus of this post is that I created my own static site generator (called website-inator). With it, I shall take over the entire tri-state area. I also reorganized the site. It's a bit of a mess, but I think any site that is getting interesting stuff should have to be a mess once in a while, if not always.

Anyway, that's all I have. I'm trying to give myself space to have an unfinished, rarely updated, idiosyncratic site.

I hope you enjoy it. If not... oh well.
